INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY

Often times people seek therapy when they are confronted by an immediate crisis. But, psychotherapy can also help people learn how to cope with everyday problems such as stress, relationship difficulties, sadness, and behavioral patterns that have become troublesome or problematic.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL GROUP PSYCHOTHERAPY

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) refers to a specific type of psychotherapy that helps people identify the relationship or connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT is a very hands-on,  collaborative form of therapy where the client and therapist work together to explore maladaptive patterns of thinking that may have lead to self-destructive behaviors and emotions.

Tele-therapy

In our ever changing world of modern technology, tele-therapy has become one of the fastest growing modalities used in psychiatric medicine. It allows people to connect with their therapist remotely when travel, busy work schedules, or other conflicts do not allow for them to come to the office.

IN HOME CRISIS MANAGEMENT

Often times when people are in crisis it directly impacts their families and loved ones. And as a particular crisis unfolds it can become increasingly difficult for someone to get to a therapist's office in person. Additionally, they may not know where to turn for specific needs or resources. Questions such as, "Do I need to go to the hospital or a treatment center," "How can I find resources in LA," or "How do I deal with my insurance company," are frequently things that come up all while in the midst of attempting to manage chaotic events or crises. In-home crisis management can assist families, loved ones, and people access the resources that they need, answer questions about navigating the mental health system, and facilitate a plan for action.
